Landscape and expedition photography for tourism boards, outdoor brands and the walls of people who plan by the weather.
How Wren works
I plan every picture around three things: a date, a bearing and a forecast. The rest is waiting — in Lofoten for a two-hour day, in the Namib for a cold one, in the Faroes for the gap between squalls.
Every expedition, filed by the season it was shot in — where the sun sits, how long it stays, and what that does to a place. Seasons are local: Patagonia’s spring is November.
Signed in pencil, numbered, printed on cotton rag in Inverness. Choose a bearing.

Weather promise. If the window closes, we wait — the first two weather days are on me.

About
Born on Lewis, where the weather is the main event. Twelve years photographing the edges of the North Atlantic and the far south, for tourism boards, outdoor brands and print collectors.
Works with a crew of two to four: a local fixer, a mountain or ice guide, and a drone/motion operator when the brief needs it.
